Description
It was because it was my part of Egypt… and Egypt is more beautiful than anything.
Thus speaks the hero of one of the six short stories that comprise this illustrated collection, addressing us in wonder. His wonder is understandable… Land of plenty, wisdom, and mystery, the Egypt of the pharaohs still fascinates us today. The obsession with death blends with the joy of existence, the harshness of life with the joy of the moment.
For over three thousand years of history, it has remained virtually the same. Is it because men liked it there?
